sewing machine close up

WOW!!!!!  Finally it's here.  My new website and the first, of what I hope will be, (fairly) regular blog posts.

I remember as a small child being taught to knit by my mum whilst my younger brother and sister were having their afternoon naps; crafting has been in my blood since then.  Before the days of off the peg dolls clothes I used to make my own for a variety of different sized dolls.  I was one of those people who used to religiously watch Blue Peter for the makes!  My Gran received a very fetching set of coasters for Christmas one year covered in good old sticky back plastic!

At secondary school during Home Economics I was the one making dresses and tops whilst everyone else was just getting to grips with how to thread a sewing machine.

The one problem with being so prolific when it comes to sewing and finding such enjoyment from it is that you eventually either run out of space for all your makes or recipients for your gifts.  The natural progression therefore is to try and sell your items and that is where I now find myself.

The items currently listed in my shop are just the beginning.  I have a long list of product ideas which I hope to be able to bring you over the course of this year.

I sincerely hope you like what you see and you find what you are looking for and I would love to know what you would like to see in the shop if you have anything in particular in mind.

Thank you for joining me on this journey.  I hope you will stay around for the ride!
